Data center builds run on steel that has to be right the first time, on a schedule that doesn’t allow rework. THG fabricates cable tray and containment, equipment skids and mounting frames, enclosures and the structural supports that carry them in one Greenville, Texas building, and schedules the work back from your install date.
What We Fabricate for Data Center Builds
- Cable tray, ladder rack and cable management: runs, transitions, drops, and the brackets and hangers that carry them
- Hot and cold aisle containment: panels, doors, end caps, roof sections and the frames they hang on, cut and formed to your aisle
- Equipment skids, frames and stands: mounting frames, rack bases, seismic and anchor brackets, and skids for mechanical and electrical gear
- Sheet metal enclosures and panels: cabinets, housings, covers and control enclosures, with cutouts to your panel layout
- Structural steel: catwalks, access platforms, mezzanines, pipe and duct supports, and strut assemblies
- Tube weldments cut on the tube laser with copes, holes and weld prep already in them, so the assembly squares itself
Working to the GC Schedule
Tell us your install window when you call. Fabrication is scheduled backward from the date you need steel on site, and parts are deburred, match-drilled and match-marked so they go together the way they did in the shop.
Installation is a separate service, quoted on its own. When THG’s field crew installs, the set sequence is built around the access you can actually give us, and the shop and crew review fit and site access before parts ship. We fabricate and install across all 50 states from Greenville, Texas.

Project Example: Prefabricated Steel Bridges for an Oklahoma Data Center
On a Whiting-Turner project for a data center in Oklahoma, THG fabricated the prefabricated steel bridges. Prefabricated bridges are built in the same Greenville shop under THG’s Roadrunner Bridge brand.

Most of our data center work is under NDA, so we don’t name the clients, show the drawings or publish the photos. We can walk you through our fabrication process, and installation if you need it, on a call, and show you our shop.
Cut, Formed, Machined and Welded in One Building
Fiber laser, tube laser, press brake, CNC machining and welding are under one roof, so a containment frame doesn’t queue at a second vendor to become an assembly. Structural coating is done by an outside coating partner, scheduled with the job.

Yes. We’re in Greenville, Texas, and we fabricate and install across all 50 states.
How do we prequalify THG?
Use the general contractor page to request our capability statement, certificate of insurance, W-9, D&B DUNS number and safety records: OSHA 300 and 301 logs, recordable rate, experience modifier rate and safety handbook.
