Bakery Spiral Proofers
Spiral Proofers in Single or Double configurations are available depending on required production rates. Spiral belt surfaces on the bakery spiral proofers and systems utilize USDA plastic belting with a high open area for increased airflow. Enclosure Systems, Ductwork, and Conditioning Units for proofer conditioning are provided. Belt Washing Systems are available upon request. Spiral Proofer Packages
THG supplies spiral proofers as complete packages: the spiral conveyor, an insulated stainless enclosure, the conditioning system, transfer conveyors and the control panel. Product rides a continuous belt through several stacked levels inside the conditioned enclosure.
- All-stainless spiral structure with a modular plastic belt
- Enclosure of tongue-and-groove stainless steel panels with 6-inch urethane insulation, gasketed joints, stainless camlocks and personnel doors
- Conditioning by humidity steam generators with air heating elements, and air circulation blowers
- Washdown incline and decline conveyors and vertical switches to bring product to the spiral infeed and away from its discharge
- NEMA 12 control panel with PLC, operator interface and variable-frequency drives
Belt Cleaning
A portable high-pressure washer can be supplied with the spiral. It runs foam, rinse and sanitize cycles, and can serve in-line belt-washing stations or be used with hoses and a sanitation wand to clean the processing area. Dedicated spiral belt washers that clean both sides of the belt are available as an option.

Washdown incline and decline conveyors and vertical switches connect the spiral infeed and discharge to the rest of the line.
