The Henry Group was founded in 1976 with a commitment to doing the job right the first time. Originally specializing in bakery equipment installation, the company quickly established itself as an industry leader, working with major baking companies across the country. As demand grew, The Henry Group expanded its capabilities beyond installation, developing and manufacturing complete bakery systems, including proofing, baking, cooling, and unit equipment. In 1981, the company established a permanent fabrication facility in Greenville, Texas, laying the foundation for continued growth and innovation in bakery system manufacturing and installation.

Our company history

1976
Henry & Suggs begins.
The Henry Group is founded with a commitment to doing the job right the first time. Its first project, under the name Henry & Suggs, is a mixer installation in Pueblo, Colorado.
1981
A permanent fabrication facility.
The company establishes a permanent fabrication facility in Greenville, Texas, laying the foundation for bakery system manufacturing and installation.
1990s
The next generation.
By the late 1980s and early 1990s, John Henry’s children have joined the business, and The Henry Group diversifies into four divisions: millwright installations, fabricated products, pre-insulated pipes and custom bakery equipment.
2000
Bakery Services Inc.
The acquisition of Bakery Services Inc., a competitor specializing in bakery oven parts and services, consolidates operations in Greenville, Texas.
Today
Serving a global market.
The Henry Group manufactures and operates in Hunt County, serving a global market with bakery equipment manufacturing, installation and services, and has expanded into bridge manufacturing with Roadrunner Bridge.
